Madonna Infringes Preexisting Copyrighted Music For “Hard Candy” CD

Miami, Florida – April 28, 2008 – Pop singer Madonna has once again infringed verbatim, the preexisting, years old copyrights of indie singer/writer Aisha for her forthcoming “Hard Candy” CD. Aisha has called for a boycott of the album.

Madonna unlawfully infringed copyrighted music from Aisha’s web site, which has been viewed by millions. She further illegally infringed, verbatim, private, unreleased items from Aisha’s preexisting Copyrighted Catalog, registered with the Library Of Congress, years before the willful thefts by Madonna occurred.

COPYRIGHTED CATALOG

Aisha is the author of the world's largest independently owned intellectual property Copyrighted Catalog containing 10,000 songs, 300 movie scripts and short stories, 15 book manuscripts, 200 music video treatments, 500 photographs, 150 photo treatments, a perfume line and clothing line, which Madonna has been unlawfully helping herself to in violation of domestic and international law.

At no time did Aisha grant anyone permission to use any of the said copyrighted works.

A detailed comparison of the infringements are available on Aisha’s web site, AishaMusic.com and on JudiciaryReport.com along with Copyright Office registration certificate numbers, that all predate Madonna’s infringements by years.

Currently, two Miami law firms are working on Aisha’s behalf regarding copyrights Madonna also spread to affiliated artists and producers she worked with, who also fraudulently took writers credit and royalties for the already registered songs.

However, the Madonna infringements and civil rights violations that occurred in tandem with the case, will be handled internationally in separate legal world venues and courts of law.

According to web site statistics, Madonna’s label, the beleaguered Warner Music Group, headed by Edgar Bronfman jr. and her publishers, have been frequent visitors to Aisha’s web site, before and after the infringements occurred, attesting to the fact they know who the indie singer is, when they really should not.

One of Madonna’s producers, Timbaland, also contacted Aisha’s MySpace page, before the latest rash of infringements occurred.

Madonna is no stranger to copyright infringement claims, as she has been sued many times for blatant violations of the Copyright Act, among other things.

Available on Aisha’s web site is a feature detailing over 3 DOZEN incidents of Madonna infringing other artists “copyrights” and “trademarks” with multiple cases resulting in litigation from individuals all over the world.

Aisha stated, “To claim one is the queen of reinvention, when your many music and image makeovers willfully rip off other artists’ copyrighted works in great detail, is disgraceful and screams fraud.

"There is nothing original about theft. Her conduct is very dishonorable. For one to steal and from a minority, is insidious and betrays a gross lack of character. Copyrights are considered intangible assets. Therefore, to steal another’s copyrights is to steal another’s money."

"In case Madonna has forgotten in her old age and vain attempts at trying to be the contemporary of Miley Cyrus and Britney Spears, copyright infringement is a crime under United States and United Nations laws.”
