When I think about New
Orleans, I think about Bourbon Street,
As you all know, the city of New Orleans and the state of Mississippi were devastated by Hurricane Katrina. Everyone has been deeply touched and saddened by what has happened. We in Miami got some of the storm and the little we did get was powerful enough to cause damage. It was classified as a category 1 hurricane, but sure felt stronger. After going through Hurricane Katrina, at half the force New Orleans and Mississippi endured, I can only imagine what they went through. Serious surveys and extensive research is being done to determine the best course of action in rebuilding the city. Clearly the levee is a problem. Natural disasters occur all over the world and we must help each other. Mankind has suffered many adversities, but by the Grace of God triumphed. Looking at the devastation, you almost don't know where to begin on the road to recovery, due to the gravity of the damage. But it can be done. I remember in the Bible Jesus said the temple would be destroyed, but built back up again in three days. It was an allegory for Himself regarding his death and resurrection, rather than the actual building that was the temple. He rose again and would not be denied. You too can rise again.
