Hello, how are you guys doing. Sorry I haven't written on here in a week. I've been very busy, but I was thinking about you guys. I hope you had a good Labor Day. Speaking of labor, I spent mine working on the artwork and packaging for the albums and CD singles and working on the new web sites as well. Since I last wrote on here I've also recorded two more songs and recorded a few instrumental parts for a few other songs as well.

Good news regarding the album, I only have one song left to record some more vocals for (it was the last song I added to the album and the title is not listed on the site yet) and a few more instrumental parts and then it will be completed.

Then it's on to mixing and mastering the rest of the tracks. I'm happy that's all I have left to do for the production side of it. The tracklisting is now at 18, so there is a lot of stuff on the album, plus the enhanced portion of it as well. I've also been working on the films and that's going well. Thank God, everything is progressing very nicely.

Hi guys. I spent last Friday, Saturday, yesterday and now today recording and mixing (but for more than one project). I've recorded the remaining vocals for the last song on my album that I hadn't finished the vocals for. There are a few more instrumental parts I want to add and then I'm finished with the recording side of the album. Then I can mix and master it.

I've done some editing/mixing for the album already, but those were more sub mixes. I also did more work on the artwork/packaging for all the titles from the label and their formats. That's about 80% completed. When I was a teenager, if a CD had four pages of packaging it was considered a lot, now it's average.

My aunt was here for a couple days. She is the playwright I mentioned a few months ago. She told me she had another play she has to write. I asked her what's her deadline and she said last week. I've been writing info from her on our family. She's told me some interesting stuff. I told her I found the family crest that dates back several centuries. Then she jokingly said we should get it put on blazers and go around telling people "bow down, you peasants!" She really made me laugh with the stuff she said. She just received a doctorate. Congrats to my aunt.

I saw a match this week which was Arsenal v. Man C - Arsenal won. The song of the week is "Root Of It All" by the group By The Tree from their album "Root." To visit their web site click here.

Hey guys, what's up. Earlier this morning I spent several hours composing instrumentals/beats and programming music. Right now I'm writing and shortly before that I was working on the new sites. I have been for a few hours now. I'm gonna take a break in a few minutes and watch a DVD. I wrote a new article on the Sound Off page, to read it click here. I want to thank everyone for visiting the web site and for the emails. Thank God the site has been doing really well.

Hi Guys, hope you are doing well. I've gotten a lot of work done in the last three days. I recorded a lot of instrumentation and two new songs. I have some more writing to finish up for the second soundtrack, but I've made great strides with it this week and I worked on the artwork/packaging for it this morning. By God's grace things are going very well and I couldn't be happier with it. Sorry I can't be more specific right now, but I look forward to talking to you about these projects in detail once they are completed and released.

I spoke to my aunt in England a few times this week. She gave me updates on the family and everyone's doing well. They are planning their vacations, places like Antigua and Jamaica. Then I joked to her that people in the UK seldom vacation anywhere that isn't hot (yes, I have to make the requisite weather jokes, but she knows I'm only kidding).

Song of the Week

I like the song 'This Fragile Breath' by Todd Agnew. I like his sound. His voice is really robust. Visit his web site by clicking here.

Hi guys. I've been swamped with work. I had a great week last week and this one is going well too. I recorded three songs for the soundtrack on Friday and two on Saturday of last week. There are only two songs left to record for that soundtrack. Last weekend I made significant progress with that album - five songs in two days. I've been doing mostly songwriting, programming and paperwork this week. I did more work on my book as well. I also started another project yesterday. Today I did more work on the artwork/packaging for my CDs and all their formats. The album cover looks great, so do the ones for the CD singles.

Remember back on December 30th, 2002 on the diary page I told you about a rapper named KJ-52, well he released his album last week. I also read an article about him this week in Forbes magazine. To go to his web site again please click here
