November 30. 2011 It feels like I've spent the past month attached to my computer, as I've done too much this month. But alas, the Christmas season is upon us and it is my favorite time of year. Summer is my second favorite time of year. There really is something special about Christmas. Things feel different, people become more optimistic and so much seems possible. I'm tired from all the calculations and typing I've done over past several weeks, as it was more than usual, but I'm working towards completing a goal that is important to me regarding my work that will be beneficial to others. Even in my sleep my mind is still thinking. I'm not a person that sleeps the entire night without any thoughts. Some of the night, yes, but chunks of it, no. I think in my sleep and in my dreams. The intellectual property I write regarding math, science and entertainment, my mind continues to work out in my dreams while I'm asleep. I will wake up and a problem I was having trouble figuring out will make complete sense and compute in the morning after I've slept on it. I see it as a blessing from God. I do try to get 8 hours per night (I said try...). When I wake up in the morning it's like someone coming out of a coma (some serious REM sleep). I would love to tell you I'm a chirpy person in the morning, but I'm not (ever seen the movie "The Mummy" - just kidding, I'm not that bad in the morning). I do my best to remain upbeat when I'm awake. That positivity serves me well. God bless you. |
