U.S. President Barack Obama touted the middle class as the backbone of America and is hoping for a resurgence among said demographic.

Over the last few years, the middle class in America, has lost its financial footing, due to unethical imbalances in the banking and employment sectors, which devalued many people's assets and earning potential.
