Judge Korda Says Sorry

A follow up on my article dated March 22, 2007 titled Anna Nicole Judge Busted Using Pot In Public where I stated Judge Korda should step down. He has now stepped down, taking a leave of absence.

"Although I make no excuse for my actions, I have attempted to demonstrate my sincere contrition, remorse and acceptance of responsibility by taking a voluntary leave of absence from my judicial duties until this matter is resolved before the Judicial Qualifications Commission." - Judge Lawrence Korda

Stepping down was prudent. One cannot properly dispense justice with a drug problem, but good on you for apologizing to the taxpayers.
