Can The Older Woman Younger Man Coupling Work

In light of the recent break-up between singer Usher, 30 and his wife Tameka Raymond, 38, does the older woman younger man pairing really last.

In some cases it has, but in many it has not. You often see older men and younger women in relationships, as women are more sensitive than men and will look pass age.  However, there are many men that are age conscious when it comes to these things and do not date older women.

Can generational differences destroy a relationship. When one person looks older than the other, does society put undue pressure on them, causing internal tensions.

Does it cause the older member of the relationship to be self-conscious. Does it cause the older member of the relationship to become insecure, due to younger people that could pose temptation for their partners. Does age matter in a relationship.

Clearly, some care about age and some don't, but it is on a case by case basis. Some generalizations do not fit.
